My history of work has mainly been in childcare and while I am still very passionate about early learning, a family emergency changed my life so that I became a caregiver for my grandma for a period of time. That sparked my love for caregiving! After I was able to come back to work I decided I wanted to care for seniors and adults with disabilities and worked in a group home while I got my nursing assistant registered license! I have CPR/first aid certification and nurse delegation core. I have experience using a hoyer lift, assisting with medication management, feeding, bathing, dressing, ADLs, errands, light housekeeping and meal prep!
