Hello! It's nice to meet you. I currently serve as a housekeeper for a woman with a 1-bedroom apartment in the Edgewater area. I do everything associated with a good cleaning: dusting, polishing, sweeping, vacuuming, cleaning the bathroom areas, cleaning windows and straightening up, etc. Beyond this, much of my work has revolved around keeping things clean. I have done many different types of cleaning in other environments in the past few years. As an assistant teacher in a university-run daycare, I have cleaned after children, doing everything from disinfecting surfaces, cleaning out the dust bunnies and inevitable glitter from cubbies, cleaning out refrigerators, kitchen sinks, diaper changing tables, and more. As a very involved theater stage manager, I take pride in making sure that my actor's working environment is clean and presentable. I have no qualms about washing sinks full of dishes, getting down on my hands and knees to scrub bathrooms, taking a toothbrush to the tiles, etc. You will never hear me complain about the dust, or the mold, or even the smells. Not only do I work hard, I work efficiently. I understand that your time is valuable, and that you do not want to be paying someone more than is necessary. I am pet-friendly, a non-smoker, have an upbeat personality, and love to smile and laugh. I work well with children of all ages, and would love to help you out!
