About Olivia

I just finished up my second year teaching 2nd grade at a private school in Austin, TX and absolutely loved my job and the school! However, my husband just graduated law school at UT and we are moving to Houston in August (2023). We will live in Houston for one year while he completes a clerkship with a judge. I am choosing to take this next year off of teaching to nanny. Rather than finding a new school to work at for one year, I figured nannying would be a fun way to still do what I love, but with a change of pace and environment. I nannied during the summer times in college and babysat occasionally in high school. I have always loved being around kids and find so much joy in getting to teach them new things and create fun experiences for them. I love the outdoors, cooking, baking, and staying active. Above all, I truly believe that having open communication and a trusting relationship with the families I nanny for is key. I look forward to chatting with you!
