About Oliver

I love everything about education and want to continue to grow as a tutor and teacher. My background lies primarily in political science, which was my major in college. I am also proficient in and eager to tutor math (geometry, pre-algebra, and algebra), language arts (reading comprehension, grammar, spelling, and vocabulary), social studies (world history, American history), and science (earth science, biology, and chemistry). I also consider myself a strong writer and love tutoring creative writing. Working with kids has transformed my life and brought me gifts I could never have imagined. To watch a light bulb turn on in a student, as he or she comes to a realization or understanding of a subject, is exhilarating.
