I agreed to hire Oghale and we agreed she would start the following day. That morning she said she needed to come later in the day as her sister was sick and she needed to take her to the hospital. I understood this of course and agreed. As the day wore on it was becoming quite late and I suggested that rather than worrying about coming to me that day why don't we simply start the following day at 8 or 9 . She agreed. The next day came and by 10:00 am I had no contact via text or telephone so I wrote to her via text that I was going to look for someone else as she evidently did really want the job as evidenced by her lack of communication. She didn't even read that message until 1:07 PM. It's amazing to me how many unreliable people out there feel they deserve the compensation they do when they don't even have simple ethics of courtesy to let someone who has made efforts to accommodate them know they aren't going to be able to make it or no longer are interested in the job. They simply let someone sit and wait for them with no respect at all for the time of the person hiring them.
