I worked for a family as a nanny but most of the errands I did were just like for a gig. The work included house sitting when the family was on vacation. I did errands, transportation when their car was not working, and grocery shopping, etc.

I've had the pleasure of being trained by Nkhalo when I was first hired at a company she and I still are employed at. We work with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Upon entering this field it was brand new for me. I was a bit nervous, but when Nkhalo walked in before she smiled I felt her warmth. There was a calmness that came over the home that took my nervous away. After greeting each person she came to me and said hello with the biggest and warmest smile. I shock her hand and said thank you, she began to laugh and said for what, I then stated for the impact you have on each person in this room. She was so patient and kind. That day she took me underneath her wing. I was trained by her and for that reason I've excelled in my new role. We are all so honored to have the opportunity to work with her. She's the breath of fresh air I wish all could know.
