About Nicole

I am currently a kindergarten teacher at West Michigan Academy of Arts and Academics! I love helping students learn and meeting them where they are academically. I'd describe my personality as flexible, dedicated, and friendly. I like tutoring because it allows me to teach in a one-on-one setting and get to know students on a personal level. I love learning about my students and focusing on how I can best meet their needs! I started tutoring when I graduated college about 5 years ago and was working as a part time paraprofessional in a Title 1 and ASD classroom setting. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family and my fiancé! I love watching Hallmark movies, crafting, and traveling! One thing you should know about me is I am an experienced and dedicated classroom teacher who can transfer my skills and resources to provide quality tutoring services! My skills include patience, relationship building, and the ability to differentiate my instruction.
