About Nicole

Through my degree program, I gained practical experience working as a student music therapist. The majority of my time was spent providing care in extended care facilities, as well as providing in home care. Although I mainly focused on developing and facilitating creative interventions that targeted the social and emotional needs of individuals, I am extremely competent in regards to attending physical needs as well. I approach caregiving with a non-judgmental positive regard model. I also adhere to a trauma-informed model of care. These models ensure that functional communication is always honored, and every individuals rights are respected. My top priority is to promote dignity and self autonomy in those in (and those out) of my care. I will always go above and beyond, and make the most out of the least.
