I have worked at a daycare for TK-5 who have had children attend that have special needs. I have worked with children that have Down syndrome, ADD/ADHD, Autism, on the autism spectrum, and a child who was partially deaf. Aside from that I have worked one-on-one as a nanny to a young girl who was on the autism spectrum from the tome she was in Kindergarten to second grade. I have also worked with young adults with autism through a transitional program. Right before COVID I was working as a paraprofessional at a high school with teens who had IEPs.
