About Nickia

I am a 40-year-old mother of four children, ages 24, 18, 17 and 10, with almost 30 years of childcare experience beginning with babysitting at the age of 12. In addition to babysitting, I have held multiple nanny positions (ages 3 months-12 years), I am a certified assistant preschool teacher (up to date on all certifications and protocols), have experience at the YMCA in Ipswich, in the childcare room, as a preschool substitute, as a wellness coach, and coaching preschool sports. Prior to covid I was working as an ABA Therapist, working 1:1 with autistic children, and had been for over 3 years. I graduated from Salem State College in 2015 with a Bachelor's in Sport and Movement Science and I am also certified in First Aid/CPR/AED for the infant child and the adult. My experience as a childcare professional has included caring for multiples, infants, transportation, feeding, light housework, homework, date nights, setting up play dates, crafts, gross/fine motor activities.
