My journey began when I became the primary caregiver for my father, who defied all odds by living over 10 years with locked-in syndrome following a brainstem stroke(doctors recommended a hospice and told me he had 6 months to live). Personally caring for him 3-4 days a week, I not only provided essential support but also managed a team of aides, ensuring his comfort and well-being. This journey taught me the true meaning of compassion, resilience, and the profound impact of genuine care.
