About Nia

Hi there I am Nia. I enjoy arts, crafts and the outdoors with young people. I believe that children should have a good balance between cognitive development tasks/ work and play/exploratory learning. If they are outside, I am too! I am a big kid and will play with them; however I believe in boundaries/ respectful behaviors and will reinforce your parenting beliefs too. I have 10+ years of experience in education in the private & public education and nanny/babysitting. I can help with Light Housekeeping and Grocery Shopping. I have taught 2nd - 12th grade and am currently a high school science teacher in Fayette. Working with parents as an educator, I am have become highly sensitive to your child's needs and your guidelines. My strengths are organization, child intrinsic motivation/goal setting, and creating epic movie nights! I am looking to fulfill jobs for date night/ occasional and afterschool work.
