About Nayirah

I'd describe my personality as compassionate, patient and empathetic. I like working with kids because you learn as much from them as they do from you. I'm looking for a job that is fulfilling and allows me to connect with people. Helping others is a passion of mine, so I feel I would really shine in a caregiving role. I started working with kids when my oldest nephew turned 2 years old in 2012. While my sister worked I was paid through a govt. program as his caregiver. I also helped raise my youngest nephew (4) and niece (3) up until my relocation to LA last year. My mother in law is a caregiver of 20 yrs. for young children and I've learned a lot from witnessing her interact with little ones. In my spare time, I like to knit, read, and shop at thrift stores. One thing you should know about me is that I am very athletic and have a lot of energy. I have no problems being up and down or issues with physical tasks. My skills include communication, physical stamina, and patience.
