About Natalie

Hi! I'm Natalie. I am a third-year student at Cal Poly SLO. I like working with kids because there is never a dull moment, and they are so curious and authentic. I feel like I learn just as much from them as they learn from me. I started working with kids when I was 13. I've been babysitting since then, and last summer, I worked with kindergarteners as a camp counselor. In my spare time, I like to read, see my friends, cook, crochet, and watch television. I also love to hike, go to the beach, and listen to music. My skills include empathy, listening, conflict resolution, problem solving, and multitasking. I approach every situation reminding myself that children are pretty new to this world compared to me, and it is my job to stay grounded and help them work through big feelings.
