Currently seeking part-time summer employment for Summer 2024. I am a graduate of the University of Maryland where I earned a bachelor's degree in family science and a master's in special education. I am a full-time special education teacher and have been teaching for 13+ in MCPS. I also work part-time providing respite to Navy families with children with severe disabilities. I have experience working with a wide array of children with disabilities including: Autism, Down Syndrome, Learning Disabilities, Charge Syndrome, Deaf and Hard of Hearing, Speech-Language Impairments, Cerebral Palsy, Spina Bifida, Intellectual Disability, Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, ADHD, and Emotional Disability. My world revolves around teaching and learning from children of all ability levels. When working with children, my main goal to keep them safe and engaged. I enjoy reading to children, playing outside, taking walks around the neighborhood, dancing to music, imaginary play, arts & crafts.

Natalie was supposed to work with two of my families but didn't follow through or show up to the interviews. One time she got snowed in and called but never came when it was rescheduled or called me back. My families were very disappointing and unhappy as to waste critical time that could be spent on the child's progress.
