About Natalie

Hi Everyone! My name is Natalie, and I graduated from Robert Morris University in 2017 with my secondary English teaching certificate. I have been gaining experience through different educational opportunities in order to help me grow as an educator since I have graduated college. I have worked as a long-term substitute English teacher, a Keystone ELA remediation facilitator, a home bound instructor, and a reading clinician. Recently, I have obtained my Master of Education in Literacy from Robert Morris University and now have my Reading Specialist PK-12 teaching certificate. As an English teacher, I found it important to be able to help my students who struggled with sound-symbol relationships, fluency, and comprehension while reading. I wanted to be able to better help my struggling readers in the classroom by providing them with research-based instruction and helpful resources in reading, so this is why I decided to go back to RMU to obtain my reading specialist cert.
