I have owned 6 different dogs throughout my 4 decades of marriage and truly enjoyed bonding with them. They have been such great companions! I often took them out for walks and played tug o' war and retrieve the ball or frisbee with them. It is a real bonus to have a husband who's been a veterinarian! Not as much experience with cats, but could handle them just as well.
