I have been working with the elderly since 2008, I have experience working with various people suffering various different illnesses. During my time as an assistant, I have worked in home care, on the rehab unit, and long term care. Nothing is more pleasing than the feeling of knowing you helped someone. I enjoy the work I do for many reasons. One reason is just the experience itself, to work with elderly you are almost for sure to gain something from the experience so not only are you giving you are gaining whether it be educational or inspirational.
