About Myra

I am an experienced and reliable caregiver with over 20 years of experience in caring for children. I worked for five families as a nanny. My last two assignments were for an infant and toddler. I'm available to provide childcare on weeknights, overnight, short notice, and weekends. I have a Bachelor of Science in Behavioral Science and a minor in Education conferred. I have recently taken the following classes: Child Growth and Development, Behavioral Observation and Screening, Child Care Facility Rules and Regulations, Health, Safety and Nutrition, Identifying and Reporting Child Abuse and Neglect. I believe that it is important to keep investing in my career. I have been recently background checked. My favorite activity with children is to read to or with them. Music is incorporated each day as part of the schedule of activities for children of all ages. Some form of outside activity is important for exercise and Vitamin D. I enjoy observing children explore their environment. Play is a child's work, and my role is to create a safe environment and activities where freedom for exploration is embraced. I have a nurturing spirit and I am looking forward to my next venture. I look forward to the opportunity to be considered for an interview.
