I'm 23 years old and recently moved back to the Asheville area after traveling in Canada. I would be a great fit to provide companionship to elderly people and I can assist with housekeeping and meal preparation/feeding. I can transport your loved one to the doctor if needed and mostly just try to give them company throughout their days and make their life a little bit easier and hopefully happier. I can learn the harder skills, such as giving medicine, assisting with bathroom use, or light medical treatment if needed (checking blood pressure/sugar/ wound dressing). My friends would describe me as having a kind and compassionate heart, being empathetic, and I really love to help people. My mother and grandmother are both nurses, my grandmother was the co-founder of Smoky Mountain Home Health & Hospice in East Tennessee so I've grown up sometimes visiting patient homes with her and my mother, and I was actively involved in both of my great grandmother's home health care.
