About Monique

I have been working with children since I was 10, first as a sitter, & then moved on to nanny work as a college student. I continued as a mother with my own. I have a lot of experience & care deeply for the families I help. They become like family to us! I'd describe my personality as warm, caring and fun loving. I like working with kids because children are the most curious and bright humans, always developing & learning & seekers of new world experiences. They never cease to amaze me! I'm looking for a job that is flexible and mutually, respectful & considerate of each other's family needs. In my spare time, I like to spend quality time with my boys, hike, care for animals (my own as well as foster!), read, do yoga, thrift shop, watch my favorite shows or movies, play music, be active & creative! One thing you should know about me is I am world traveled, love music & do makeup as a profession! My skills include ensuring they are safe, engaged and feel cared for and content.
