While being the aunt of 5 nieces and nephews provides experience, I have been working with children since high school. first as a Recreation Assistant at a campground, then a teachers assistant (Mental Health Associate) at a school for kids with special needs, and now Psych Nursing Technician at a Children's Psychiatric Hospital. My experience working with kids with emotional/behavioral/cognitive special needs make me a super great candidate for ensuring your kids are safe, have appropriate boundaries set, and are entertained and happy in my care (I do A LOT of problem prevention by making sure kids are occupied with activity.) This type of job would work so well since I start back to online school soon! I hope to hear back soon!
