About Monica

Hi my name is Monica. I am 20 years old. I have almost completed my second year towards my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education. I am so excited to be a teacher, i've dreamt about it all my life. I come from a long line of teachers, including my mom and my grandpa. For the past year I have been working at an After School Care Program for the YMCA. I absolutely love working with children. I have a lot of experience with babysitting on weekends and date nights. I enjoy doing crafts with the kids or science experiments, playing in the backyard and going to the park. I am fun and outgoing and always make sure that safety is my number one priority while working with kids. I am flexible and reliable, patient and kind but also enforce rules that parents set for their children. I have been vaccinated, CPR/First Aid certified, I do not smoke and I am comfortable with pets.
