Hi! I am an 25-year-old female that recently moved to Austin. I'm a Registered Behavioral Technician at Action Behavior Centers and my schedule is 8-4:30, so I'm looking for an evening job a few nights a week. I have been babysitting for numerous families since I was around 14, and absolutely love kids. I have worked with children from 2-months old to 16 years old. For the past 7 years, I have been a certified caregiver for people with special needs, and therefore, have gained a lot of experience and insight on how to care for a variety of needs, such as bathing / hygiene, catheters, bowel program, feeding, lifting / transferring, etc.

Monica filled in for two weeks, caring for my grandchild, who is autistic non-verbal, and getting him ready for school. From the moment she walked in she developed a good rapport with my child, hugs and reading together. She learned the routine quickly, worked independently with no supervision and my kid's over all mood seemed to improve during the two weeks she cared for him! She is an even tempered young lady perfectly suited to care for individuals with special needs.
