I am a certified Teacher of the Deaf (both manual and oral communication). I am also certified to teach Elementary Education (K-6) with a special education endorsement. With my itinerant teaching experience, I have worked with students ranging from grades K-12 in supporting their academic growth in a number of areas, with a focus on literacy. I have worked with students with hearing loss, autism, emotional and behavioral difficulties, ADD/ADHD, English language learners, and multiple disabilities. I recognize that each student is different, therefore strategies and programming must be tailored to meet every student s individual needs.
