Hi! I'm a 21-year-old pre-medicine linguistics student! I also read and crochet in my spare time! I have 8 years experience working with kids, and 4 years working with special needs kids as the coordinator and manager of the special needs program of my local swim school in San Francisco. I started working with kids when I was 13, volunteering at my local library reading to preschoolers. I did this for 5 years, then I started working at a local swim school in the SF Bay Area, earning awards for my commitment, enthusiasm, and connection with families. I even got promoted to the manager of our special needs program due to my continued commitment to the program! I'm super flexible! Does your kid need a gentle caretaker? I'm on it! We can do some calm activities together and build trust slowly. Have a higher energy kid? No problem! I can match that energy, be firmer while still patient and kind. I can even throw in some swim lesson time if you'd like to burn their energy off!
