About Mo

After taking a pause from childcare work for the last three years due to both Covid and school, I am eager to return to the imagination and play that brings me so much joy in building relationships with children. I have experience with kids of all ages, from infant to 12. I am the founder and former director of Center Stage Somerville, a theater camp in which I directed and produced musicals with 8-12-year-olds for six years. I was a substitute teacher for infants through 5-year-olds at a Children's Center right before the pandemic began. I have also spent much of my adult life living with friends with children (varying ages from 1-8) and have been deeply involved in their care, spending hours each week (and sometimes each day) playing, reading stories, supporting bedtime so my friends could have time away, etc. Lastly, I've been babysitting since I was 12. In my other life, I'm a clinical herbalist and work in a soup kitchen
