After two months he asked for a 50% raise. He shows up on time and does an okay job (bathrooms are good, beds are made very tightly) but other skills are highly lacking: never did fold certain items correctly, and he'd put things away in the wrong spot all the time, despite my efforts to put signs around the house where laundry/dishes go. Very frustrating to have to find where he put things. Some of the attempts to put things away are comically awful. No thought of "I'll find where the plates are and put this plate with all the others." No, instead, the plate is balanced in a weird position on top of some pyrex dishes. Crazy.
