About Misty

Aloha, My name is Misty and I have been in the Early Childhood Education Field for the past 30 years. As I hope you can see, this isn't just a job for me, this is what I love to do, my passion. Over the years I have had the privilege of working with multiple little ones in private preschools, daycares, running my own home daycare, as well as being a mom. I love to work with children of all ages as we are all continually learning, but I specialize in newborn - 5 years old. These are often the most active and can be challenging years for families because of emerging individual personalities and big emotions for little bodies. I find them to be the most rewarding as well. My goal is to help little ones navigate into the big world, that we as adults, are still trying to figure out ourselves at times. My biggest joy is to be able to see the world through a child's eyes and help them to learn something new in a positive and lasting manner.
