I have worked with children from one month to 18 years old. The happiness that kids bring me is like no other. I have worked with at risk children for 15 years. I also worked as a LPN with a child with cystic fibrosis for five years. I worked at the child's house 5-6 days a week. With both my kids being in college and experiencing empty nest symptoms, I figured this would be an amazing time to enjoy other children. I'm a very nurturing and caring person but understand that parents have their way of discipline and will work with the parents to keep a consistent manner for the children.

Misty was hired to be full time nanny for my 1 year old daughter. Due to other work obligations, her start date was almost a month after phone interview/ hiring. We thought she would be a good fit so chose her over other candidates that could start right away. She was supposed to come meet our daughter in person a week before starting. she called to say she was sick and needed to reschedule but sent several messages saying she apologized and wanted us to know she still wanted the job. And then proceeded to not respond to any further messages about rescheduling/ never started work. my husband lost an additional months pay staying home with our daughter while waiting for her start date. It would have been fine if she just let us know that she had changed her mind so we could start looking for someone, but she chose to be unprofessional, unreliable and disrespectful. Absolutely would not trust her with my child.
