About Miriam

Hi there, please call me Mir (like a Meerkat). I'm so excited to meet you and your kiddos! I am an extremely passionate, empathetic, and patient person who adores working with kids, animals, and all things nature! Through my work history in social work, behavioral therapy (ABA for kids diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder), pet sitting, and babysitting, I have gained various irreplaceable knowledge and skills. Such skills include but is not limited to; -Toileting (potty training, diaper/pull up changes) & hand washing -Assisting with preparation/delivering food for meal times -Appropriate peer engagement, school readiness, and assistance with homework -Following care instructions such as allergies, behavior responses, toileting schedules, etc.) -Proficiency with working with kiddos ages 1-9 years diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (including challenging behaviors, stimming, toileting, eating, peer engagement, and a tiny bit of ASL)
