About Miriam

I have 3 years of experience working with kids-- babysitting all ages, tutoring children with special needs, and teaching creative writing to middle schoolers. I am a filmmaker and writer who loves finding innovative ways to engage kids instead of simply passing the time. In the past, I've created games, helped with homework, baked, made a collage out of leaves we collected on a neighborhood walk, played basketball, played hide and seek, had countless dance parties, and all the while getting everyone to bed on time. I am a safe driver with my own car and can help with pickups and drop-offs, light housekeeping, and cooking/meal preparation. I love animals (grew up with 2 cats and a big dog) and am comfortable taking care of pets.
