About Miriam

Hello! My name is Miriam, an undergraduate student at Davidson College (NC) seeking tutoring/sitting opportunities. I have both formal and informal experiences sitting and tutoring children below the age of 15! In high school, I volunteered as a reading partner, helping a second-grade student achieve higher literacy. At Davidson, I volunteered at the local enrichment center and mentored/tutored two middle school students in all subjects. Informally, I have helped my parents care for my three younger siblings, one of whom has Edward's Syndrome. This has included homework/reading help, diaper changing, feeding, and much more. I am patient, organized, and great at multitasking and would be more than happy to help care for your little ones! (To note: I am CPR-certified and fully vaccinated against COVID-19.)
