About Miranda

I'd describe my personality as positive, outgoing and gentle (: I like working with kids because the way they view the world is admirable and I believe we as adults can always be learning from kids as much as they learn from us. I'm looking for a job that is flexible and sustainable for both me and the family I am working with. I started working with kids when I was a young teenager, as the number of cousins I had began to grow quickly. It was lots of hands on experience! In my spare time, I like to spend time at the beach with friends and my dog, paint, watch movies and cook! One thing you should know about me is that I am a Type 1 Diabetic. I control my sugars excellently, but it is always something to point out (: I was diagnosed at 9 years old, so I consider myself a pro when it comes to management!
