About Mikayla

I have 8+ years experience working with people, an entire life's experience of caring for kids (older sibling perks!), and one year of professional experience working with kids specifically. I love getting creative with arts and crafts, spending time outdoors, cooking and baking, and traveling! I currently work at a therapeutic and recovery ranch with a work program that specializes in adults with mental health and recovery journeys. Some of my responsibilities here are household duties, baking, working in the garden, and being a good role model. This summer I have started to work on my bachelors degree for social work and am taking online classes. Some of my favorite jobs have been when I had the opportunity to work with children and am looking forward to meeting a new family to bond with!
