About Mikayla

Hi, my name is Mikayla and I'm a fun-loving, empathetic, creative 26-year-old! I have always loved taking care of children, which makes sense considering I have one infant age great-niece, and 4 infant/toddler aged cousins I have cared for when needed the past couple years. As you can tell, I love taking care of the infant age children, but I do have experience with all ages. I worked at a daycare with infants and toddler aged kids and was a substitute teacher in both elementary, middle school, and high school classes. I am looking for a part-time position, mainly evenings and nights, and my rate starts at $15/hour. I am CPR/AED/First Aid certified and have my own car. My focus is on providing your child a safe environment, a healthy lifestyle, and a routine that works for the entire family. I love cooking, coloring, playing pretend, and spending time outdoors with the kids! I make sure we follow the rules, but explain in a kind and understanding way. I can't wait to meet you!
