About Mikayla

I've spent my entire nursing career working with the geriatric population, specifically in assisted living and memory care. While most of my experience has revolved around administration and management, I find it more fulfilling to spend 1:1 quality time with individual clients at the bedside. My passion lies in preventative care with an emphasis on holistic health and wellness. Promoting a high quality of life, for both the client and the family caregivers, is a major priority for me. I do not provide skilled care, except under special circumstances. My primary goal on care. com is to serve as a resource for individuals who are seeking assistance with elderly loved ones who are not quite ready for homecare or are requiring a little extra assistance in between homecare or hospice visits. I would be an excellent resource for a family caregiver who needs a last-minute "sitter" for a loved one.
