About Michelle

I specialize in teaching math, English, science, and art, but I am able to help with any subject Pre K through 10th grade. I have a total of over 10 years teaching experience with 4 years as a teacher's assistant and substitute at an elementary school working with K-6 students. For the past 5 years I have also been tutoring students one-on-one full time. I have focused in working with ADHD and other special needs students especially since I am, myself, ADHD and know what it's like. I can offer resources and strategies to help those who learn differently and their families. I worked for 10 years as an educational illustrator and use art to teach as well as teaching art. I am also more than happy to read aloud to your student, for any reading level. I'm flexible in how we can meet: in-person, over the phone, or virtually. At the end of every tutoring session I give a verbal or written report of what was covered in order to keep you informed and hear your feedback.
