I grew up with dogs but currently have cats, all whom I rescued. I was involved in an animal rescue group, an animal rights group, and volunteer at the SPCA all in New Jersey for many years. I would help feed cat colonies and assist in county TNR programs(trap-neuter-release). I've had cats with illnesses that required giving medications and injections. I've become very good at it! I fed strays while living in Florida. I recently returned to New Jersey permanently. I enjoy bonding with animals through both affection and play. I think of my animals as my children and will love yours as much as I love mine. You can rest assured that I will take great care of your animal companion.

I've known Michele for many years and she has taken wonderful care of my kitties, not only feeding and cleaning, but also giving them playtime and extra pets and loves in my absence, helping to calm their home-alone stress. I've also seen her love and compassion for other cats and dogs, whether watching over neighborhood ferals, pitching in to help an incapable neighbor whose dog needs regular walks, rescuing kittens and mamas out of unsafe environments. Michele has also gone above and beyond for the care and well-being of her own kitties, giving them their best possible lives. (I once heard someone comment, "I want to be reincarnated as one of Michele's cats!") Beyond basic care, she is well-read in many animal ailments through her tireless research. Her compassion for animals in general is humbling. I trust her with my beloved kitties before anyone else.
