About Michaela

I come from a big family (My mom was the second oldest of 8!) and have helped raise my 20 (and counting!) little cousins ranging from 0 to 15. I also have a younger sister with a mental disability and 5 nieces and nephews (ranging from ages 1 to 8) whom I lived with until recently but still help take care of. I have always loved caring for kids and eventually plan to return to school to teach elementary. I have one year of tutoring experience (with an 8th grader) during high school and taught at a daycare (ages 3 to 5) during my freshman year of college. Before working at said daycare, I was required to complete CPR and natural disaster trainings and helped teach the 15 children how to write their names, read to them, and prepare them for kindergarten. I also volunteered with kids who came from broken families and in a high school classroom as a teacher's aide. Overall, I have had up to 5 or more years of experience and can't wait to meet you and your child(ren)!
