About Michaela

I'd describe my personality as engaging, responsible, easy-going, and bubbly! I love working with kids and being able to use my naturally playful side to find creative ways to engage them. I have ample experience with babies and have been a nanny for middle schoolers and teenagers as well! I started babysitting for my neighbors' newborn in 7th grade, and 10 years later have been nannying for them ever since. I have been babysitting for 10 years and am so comfortable working with all ages! Growing up with a mom who is a pediatric OT, I've spent so much time working with young kids with disabilities and have learned so much about engagement, patience, and meeting kids where they're at... Whether it be volunteering at daycare centers, joining high-school/college clubs with teenagers with disabilities, or working as an aid for twins with cerebral palsy and autism - I've learned to engage with kids at all ability levels - whether they have disabilities or not!
