About Michaela

I'm a passionate and dedicated senior early childhood education major, graduating from Baldwin Wallace University in May 2024. I will be graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Education. I'm an aspiring first-year teacher with hundreds of hours of practicum experience throughout my internships and student teaching placements in various school settings and age groups, including preschool through fifth grade. These experiences have provided a deeper understanding and skill set in myself to create engaging and developmentally appropriate activities promoting social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth in children. My approach to childcare is rooted in building strong relationships with both children and their families, fostering open communication and collaboration to ensure the well-being and success of each child. I am excited about the opportunity to bring my enthusiasm and expertise to Care. com as I continue to pursue my passion for early childhood education!
