About Michaela

Hi there, my name is Michaela ! I am 26 years old and in my spare time, I love to make art, write, and play video games. I have 2 years of experience with children ages 5 months to 5 years. Before nannying, I volunteered with different after school programs, working with school age children ages ranging from 5-10 years old. I consider myself so fortunate to have discovered the joy of working in childcare. Since I began my career in childcare, I've developed a greater understanding and appreciation of childhood development. Setting and maintaining firm and reasonable boundaries is vital to creating a greater sense of safety for toddlers. Implementing this in my own life has improved my self confidence. I find that my persistent flexibility and patience aids my ability to handle and de-escalate tantrums, while processing complex emotions.
