About Mia

I'm looking for a job that gives me the ability to use my creative skills, love for kids, and ultimately a career that is fulfilling. I started working with kids when I was 13. I began by working in classes with my church, serving for 7 years there. I was a full time nanny from age 16 until I was 20. Age 19 to 21, I was a substitute teacher for the preschoolers at MCA. The past several years I have been in the marketing industry / food industry. I'm looking for a full time job working with kids again, because it's truly been the most fulfilling and passionate job I've ever had. In my spare time, I like to read, create art, sing/play the piano, travel/hike, and spend quality time with my friends and family. My childcare skills: 1. CPR certified. 2. I'm passionate about helping kids grow into their full potential. 3. Showing up for their day to day needs, whether that be incorporating games & activities for learning, or being a friend to lean on.
