About Mia

Hi! I'm Mia! I am currently a student at UGA majoring in Elementary Education. I worked as a preschool teacher for the 22-23 school year in a 2-year-old class and helped out in the other age groups that year as well as a substitute teacher. I'm the oldest of 4 so I take care of my siblings all the time(my youngest sister is 5, my brother is 8, and my other sister is 14). I am super comfortable with cooking, diapers, and love arts and crafts! I love animals and am currently apart of the guide dog raising program as well so I LOVE dogs! I'd describe my personality as bubbly, energetic, and patient. I like working with kids because their young minds are brilliant! I also love the energy that kids bring to the table, and their creativity and imagination! I started working with kids when I began "mothers helping" when I was 12. I also have been helping with my youngest siblings since they were born! In my spare time, I like to hike, go to the gym, and help train guide dogs!
