About Mia

My name is Mia, and I am in the process of relocating to the Philly area in Fall 2023. I am currently a child welfare social worker, who has been working in foster care/adoption for the past 7 years. Prior to that, I was a full time nanny for numerous years to a wonderful family! From my social work career, I have extensive knowledge on early childhood development. I was a lead Sunday school teacher for children 1-3 years old. I come from a very large Italian family with numerous nieces and nephews I care for often! I am open to additional household chores that can help parents, such as errands, laundry, etc. I am happy to learn about your family's individual parenting approaches and ensure I am respecting your family's culture and values with your little ones! I enjoy engaging children in age appropriate developmental activities, crafts, as well as encouraging reading and exploring the world around them while nurturing their individual little personalities as well!
