-- Senior care was provided, not child care -- As a caregiver, Mia was very proficient, kind and patient, punctual and we were very excited to get to know her! Unfortunately for us (but fortunately for her!), she was offered something full-time beginning immediately. That meant she quit with no notice (this morning at 6am, she was supposed to arrive at 8). This was two days after beginning to provide care that was specifically presented as "long-term". I am honestly disappointed that she was not upfront with us regarding her pending employment (because surely it was not a same day application and interview). We would have been absolutely happy having her as a temporary caregiver but her failure to be upfront means I would be hesitant to hire her again due to her unreliability.
