About Merissa

I was a STEM teacher, and have 9 years experience working in childcare in church, home and daycare settings for children aged newborn-school age and have worked with children with speech delays, autism, and ADD/ADHD. I would love to combine childcare with tutoring if requested! I am willing to provide transportation within reason if requested as well. I am a great cook and do not mind cooking for children (without need for instruction), even those with allergies or dietary preferences. I love art and music, and would love to incorporate these activities for children upon request. I am familiar with various parenting styles, such as Montessori, baby-led weaning, sleep-training, and more. Feel free to ask questions! I can provide references and have many clients for whom I have been a first nanny for their kids!
