About Mercedes

I am an high school student who is interested in becoming a teacher! I'd describe my personality as caring, adaptable, and patient. I am always there for when others need me. I like to observe and I also have experience helping those with special needs. I like working with kids because they are all interesting and unique. I have been told my whole life that I would do great with kids and as I have been around them a lot and working with them, I have found that I like to help them achieve what they need. I started working with kids when I was around 15 years old, I started tutoring a kid on their 6th grade work all the way til 8th grade. I also have been coaching kids on Saturday mornings for about two years now. In my spare time, I like to help others and give back. I am always looking for something to do and I am happy to share my time when I can.
