About Melissa

I am currently pursuing my master's degree in social work. I I have 4 years of experience helping grade-level, AP, or collegiate-level learners. I am able to meet my students where they are in terms of dyslexia, ADHD/ADD, and behavioral opposition to completing school work. My specialty and passion lie in helping students hone their essay skills. I emphasize the planning aspect of completing school work, so my students move toward independence. My goal is to teach my students skills that move them forward, so they eventually outgrow their need for external academic support.
